New York-based artist Michelle Morin's latest paintings have an overwhelming theme: birds, birds and more birds. From pigeons and ostriches to pelicans, the avian animals depicted in these paintings are intricate and stunning.
Michelle Morin studied painting and art history at Massachusetts College of Art and developed a love for nature, plants and wildlife after working in the field of horticulture for a number of years. Michelle uses a number of techniques to create these unique results -- mainly working in elaborate watercolor and gouache and using her travels as a source of inspiration.
One thing's for sure -- the natural beauty really stands out in these paintings.
