Hyperloop Manufacturing Facilities

The 'Metalworks' Plant Builds this High-Speed Transport System

Hyperloop One, the company behind the vacuum tube technology that promises to bring unheard of transportation speed on a mass transport scale, has opened its first manufacturing plant, called the Metalworks plant. The 105,000 square foot facility is located in North Las Vegas and is currently working on building the components for DevLoop, the trial run for the complete Hyperloop platform.

Aside from manufacturing, the Metalworks plant will also be home to Hyperloop's new propulsion lab, meaning that it will help to solve research and development problems as well as producing parts for the project.

With North Las Vegas also set to host an electric supercar factory and Tesla's 'Gigafactory,' the region is slated to become the new Detroit for this generation of transportation.
