Hostess is adding a nostalgia-inducing new style of snack to its lineup with the debut of its new Meltamors snack cakes.

Hostess Meltamors are a new type of snack cake that's inspired by lava cakes and other warm desserts. Each one consists of a moist, single-serve cake stuffed with a melty center and topped with a chocolate-flavored drizzle on top. Currently, the new Meltamors snack cakes come in two flavors: Double Chocolate and Chocolate Creamy Caramel. The former features a rich chocolate melting center, while the Chocolate Creamy Caramel Meltamor features a caramel-flavored melting center. The idea is that when you warm these cakes in the microwave, the filling inside begins to melt and flow like 'lava' out of each cake – an indulgent dessert experience for kids and adults alike.
