Stephanie Casper’s air-sealed meat art showcases a new means of preserving art. The knitted artworks, which she entitled ‘Knit Meat,’ are enclosed inside a vacuum seal container along with Styrofoam plates, which is commonly found in grocery stores around the world.

Casper uses several meats and fish in her work to encapsulate that everyday grocery meat market feel. The replicated meat work displays feature roasted chickens, steak and a fish’s head. These meat-knitted art works brings some added flair to the world of meat art displays. Casper is a New York-based artist who graduated at the Pratt Institute who plans on bringing the beauty of the meat district to everyone's artistic palate.
