Zaha Hadid Designed the ME Dubai Hotel in Her Signature Style

London-based architect Zaha Hadid designed the exterior and interior for the ME Dubai Hotel, a project which features sculptural balconies and her London Design Festival installation.

Located in the Burj Khalifa district, the hotel stands next to the world's tallest building. Of the hotel's 100 rooms, four penthouses will be equipped with double-height living areas, bespoke furniture and entry to private terraces located on the roof. However, every room will feature the fluid, curvaceous style that characterizes Hadid's design aesthetic.

Upon entrance, guests are greeted with a reception area located underneath a glazed void, which effectively divides the building in two. Balconies are created by a metallic feature, located next to the reception, that branches out.
