Technology company Ombori works in conjunction with The Landmark Group to introduce a new interactive shopping experience placed in the Max Fashion store located in Dubai's Ibn Battuta Mall. It is a voice-activated retail assistant that is implemented into a mirror and screen. Customers are encouraged to approach the screen and take a selfie with the camera in the screen before it displays a series of fashion suggestions.
The smart screen functions as a simple mirror and activates when it detects customers walking by. Shoppers can also browse through products, check inventory, and even make a purchase with the technology. Notably, the interactive screen is bilingual and can detect both English and Arabic languages.
