Fun and almost flammable, the Matchstick Cookies are a quirky dessert creation made for pyromaniacs and food lovers alike. As its name suggests, these biscuits have been modeled after matchsticks. Made by IFeelCook, an anonymous baker based in Barcelona who "liv[es] in a sugary world" as stated on her or his blog, the Matchstick Cookies follow a very simple recipe.

The Matchstick Cookies were created out of butter cookie dough and colored icing. IFeelCook used white, burgundy and brown hues in order to make the biscuits appear like real matchsticks. The dough was cut into long rectangles. Once baked, only one tip was iced. They were then put into a box that resembles a classic matchstick container.
