The Maruma House by Fernanda Canales Architects is located in a residential area in Mexico City. This beautiful home is 500 square-meters, and the project team consisted of Angela Vizcarra and Alberto Garcia.
The idea behind this house was to create an open concept home that was still private full of overlapping box shapes. On the ground level one can walk straight out to a massive and luscious garden, and each bedroom in the house walks out to a green terrace.
One of the most interesting aspects of the house is the staircase that has a beautiful wooden bookcase that runs from the ground to the top floor. This stunning box-shaped abode is perfect for any family that wants a private living experience full of wide-open spaces.
