The latest offering from the Martine Rose Fall/Winter 2012 collection, which was recently unveiled at London Fashion Week, may have just been one of the event's most unique shows. In it, models walked down the runway wearing bob-shaped wigs that were fastened by the ends and that resembled helmets more than they did hairstyles. Some of the models even strutted down the catwalk with their faces -- and vision -- completely obstructed by the locks, showcasing their runway talents.
The collection itself combined bright colored, 90s-inspired street wear with more formal pieces and paired the resulting look with Cat construction boots to make for some loud looks that one would have to be pretty brave to sport. So if you're in need of a new pair of bright orange, cropped, flood pants or a bomber jacket with embroidered patches stitched all over it, then the Martine Rose Fall/Winter 2012 line will make you very happy.
