In order to inspire fans of classic Nintendo video games to try out the latest advancements in gaming technology, the VR Zone in Shinjuku, Japan, gave some of its visitors the chance to play Mario Kart VR using the HTC Vive.

To make the experience seem that much more real, players were seated in moving chairs that featured all the controls they needed on the arms. In addition, the players boosted their adrenaline by pedaling while they raced within the game -- making for a high energy experience that brought out each participant's competitive nature.
