Champagne Ice Cream

Magnum Marc De Champagne is a Celebratory Ice Cream Treat

To celebrate something in style, one must always have a champagne bottle on hand, so suitably to celebrate its 25th year in the ice cream industry, Magnum released an ice cream bar called the Magnum Marc de Champagne. And if the name didn't give it away, then yes, it has champagne in it.

Marc de Champagne is a sparkling wine from the Champagne region of France, which is actually made from the pomace of grapes that allow it to taste more boozy like an Italian Grappa. However, alcohol isn't the only thing infused into this celebratory summer treat; the ice cream is silver-coated. Don't worry though, you won't be consuming actual metallic. The silver is just the brand's iconic cracking chocolate coating that has been dyed.
