The MAGICDRIVE is a Ratchet Screwdriver with a Spinner Top

— January 16, 2026 — Lifestyle
The MAGICDRIVE is a precision-machined titanium ratchet screwdriver designed by Thomas Lee. The tool’s body is CNC-machined from titanium and incorporates a ratchet mechanism built from machined metal and ceramic bearings. Its foldable body locks into multiple angles including 0°, 45°, and 90°, and accepts modular bits through a magnetic quick-swap interface for both standard and precision bit holders.

The knurled grip section is machined directly into the body for secure handling. A balanced spinner top with a brass core is integrated into the design and rotates independently from the driver body for tactile interaction. The screwdriver’s modular system allows quick changes between a 1/4-inch bit holder and a 4 mm precision bit holder. The housing and internal magnetic components are sealed with machined caps rather than adhesives. The tool’s foldable configuration and detachable modules are engineered to maintain mechanical engagement and continuous connection through a single USB-C cable interface.
