Makeup artist and YouTube beauty guru Kandee Johnson teamed up with Glamour Magazine for a series called ‘Beauty ReCovered’ and in this installment, Johnson teaches you how to attain an iconic Madonna look.
Long before women were envious of Cara Delevingne’s bold eyebrows, Madonna was rocking them all over the place, including one of Glamour’s covers from way back in the 90s.
To make her Madonna transformation more dramatic, Kandee uses facelift tape and imitates Madonna’s facial features with an extra light highlight and a dark contour color. For the brows themselves, Kandee uses a gel brow color and applies it with an angled Taklon makeup brush, advising that drawing a sharp angle is the key to mimicking Madonna’s killer brows.
