There are lighting systems—like under-cabinet lighting—that are suited to very specific parts of the home but other parts of the home remain in the dark without simple and effective solutions. According to Luminook founder and CEO Chris Stubbs, "As a whole, the lighting industry does not provide an effective solution to illuminate enclosed spaces such as closets and pantries properly."
At CES 2020, Luminook is introducing a simple solution that can be mounted on the doorframe inside of a closet, pantry or other poorly lit space. Luminook helps to save homeowners and renters the hassle of complicated installations, as it needs no tools to be installed. Once put in place, Luminook turns on when the door is open and turns itself off when the door is closed.
