There is nothing in the world that provokes a chain of profane words than hitting your skull off of a low hanging chandelier or dining room lamp. I’m sure this is exactly what Dutch designer Anna Van Der Lei was thinking about when she came up for the idea of the Lowlight ground lamp. I mean, it is far less frustrating to take a minor trip over a light than suffer a mild concussion from it.
Now, I am not exactly sure of the practical applications of the Lowlight ground lamp other than it making a pretty unique center piece for the living room. One cool feature of it is that you can adjust the intensity of the light by moving it up and down.
