Look Good Feel Better is a platform dedicated to supporting women with cancer. The organization focuses on "not just the physical, but the emotional and psychological aspects" since there is a growing gap in the care offered for the psychosocial needs of patients with a cancer diagnosis.
Since the onset of COVID-19, Look Good Feel Better has been offering online workshops to bring young women facing cancer together. These online teen workshops provide practical tips and techniques to manage the appearance-related effects of cancer, providing a safe place for young women to ask questions and share their stories. When women feel beautiful, it helps "restore a sense of self and renew a feeling of womanhood, however, these women choose to define it."
