Bardstown Bourbon Co., part of Lofted Spirits, introduced two 2026 annual releases: Lochs of Jura Barrel Finish and 2026 Discovery, both featuring finishes in unconventional casks. Lochs of Jura blends Indiana and Kentucky whiskeys and was finished for 32 months in a combination of ex-Bourbon and ex-Sherry casks sourced from the Isle of Jura in Scotland.
The 2026 Discovery release blends 10-, 11- and seven-year-old Bourbons and was finished for four months in custom Garryana, or Oregon white oak, barrels. It is bottled at 66.4% ABV, while Lochs of Jura is bottled at 52% ABV. Both releases also feature commissioned artwork by Louisville artist Margaret Archambault inspired by the aroma, flavor and texture of each whiskey.
For consumers, the limited releases highlight Bardstown’s continued focus on experimental maturation and distinctive cask influence while adding a collectible visual element to its annual whiskey program.
