Rolling Fork Spirits is Expanding Its Bourbon De Luxe Series
Rolling Fork Spirits is launching the fourth iteration of its Bourbon de Luxe series, a limited-production bourbon. This specific batch represents a departure from previous releases as it is the first to undergo a secondary aging process, known as finishing, in casks that previously held the company's own award-winning rum.
The resulting bourbon is a seven-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon, sourced from a distillery in Bardstown, and is bottled at a higher alcohol concentration of 111 proof. Rolling Fork Spirits describes the flavor profile as a lighter, summer-appropriate character that incorporates traditional bourbon notes of vanilla and spice with additional tropical fruit and molasses influences imparted by the rum casks. The release is highly limited to approximately 1,200 bottles and is positioned at a premium price point for direct and select market distribution.
