Localized Electric Vehicle Production

Leapmotor Expands European Manufacturing in Spain

Leapmotor International is expanding localized electric vehicle production by planning to manufacture its B05 model at Stellantis' Zaragoza facility in Spain. Following the start of B10 production, the addition would establish a broader European manufacturing operation, bringing multiple electric vehicle models closer to regional customers.

The B10 officially entered production on October 16, with the B05 identified as the next vehicle planned for the Spanish plant. This approach combines Leapmotor's electric mobility expertise with Stellantis' established manufacturing infrastructure, skilled workforce, and supplier network. Using existing industrial resources supports the company's strategy of developing vehicles within the markets they serve.

For Leapmotor International, the expansion strengthens its manufacturing partnership with Stellantis and deepens its involvement in Europe's automotive industry. Producing additional models locally could support long-term regional growth while reinforcing the company's position among European electric vehicle manufacturers.
