Pioneer Brings Its Heritage Collection to the US for Older Cars

Pioneer is bringing its 'Heritage Collection' to the US with the 'SXT-C10PS' head unit for drivers who want period-looking audio gear in older cabins. The lineup also includes 'TS-X40SXT' box speakers. The single-DIN receiver keeps a cassette-deck face, but the tape door opens to reveal USB ports and Bluetooth.

The rollout arrives with RADwood, giving US buyers a direct way to order from Pioneer, with shipping planned by November 2. The head unit is $499, while the speaker pair is $300. Its cassette-style face preserves the visual language of 1980s dashboards. It also offers a cleaner upgrade for 1990s interiors than a large screen.

U.S. availability turns cyclicality into a real aftermarket option instead of a Europe-skewed one. At $499, Pioneer sits above cheaper retro-styled stereos but makes branded cyclicality easier for owners restoring older cars to buy.
