In November, the Lobster Burger Bar opened its doors in Toronto’s Entertainment District to offer an elevated comfort food experience to consumers. The launch is indicative of how fast food menu items such as burgers and fries are appropriated to serve more luxury-focused markets. This move does not only necessitate the revamp of traditional burger recipes, but it is also a design-forward approach to presentation and higher-end ingredients. Deemed as “elevated but approachable,” the dinning space boasts fresh ingredients sourced from local farmers and producers.
The Lobster Burger Bar offers Canadians items such as The Halifax Burger which boasts 5 oz of “succulent lobster” and which retails for $28 CAD and The Bachelor which features “10oz of AAA Angus Beef smothered in [a] handcrafted Canadian whiskey BBQ sauce.”
The Lobster Burger Bar also offers a menu of cocktails.
