The Lion Electric Lion8 urban truck has been announced by the Canada-based brand as a new transportation solution for use in cities that could help to dramatically curb the amount of pollutants found in population-dense environments.
The truck has a curb weight of 24,600 pounds and is reported to have a driving range of 250 miles per charge to make it ideal for getting items delivered in urban areas. This is thanks to the 480 kWh Li-ion battery pack it's powered by and the electric motor that features the equivalent of 470 horsepower for drivers to glide across urban landscapes.
The Lion Electric Lion8 urban truck has a top speed of 65mph and has been built to withstand the harsh winter conditions in North America for year-round functionality.
