Keisuke Kawaguchi and K2-Design's latest project is a lightbox home that is located in the heart of Imabari, Japan. Titled 'FLAT40,' the project embodies a futuristic design style and features an illuminated facade that acts as its most intriguing focal point.

Similar to its linear facade, the home's interior spaces are also kept sleek and simple. The lightbox home features an open-concept space plan with elongated kitchen, dining and living room areas that flow together seamlessly.

This Japanese residence by Keisuke Kawaguchi and K2-Design blends raw wood and stone finishes within its interior, creating a modern look that is made warm and cozy with the addition of rustic design details. This abode is a fresh translation of Japanese design ideals and relies on simplicity to make a quiet yet powerful statement.
