The LEGO Pac-Man Piece Opens and Closes its Mouth

The LEGO Pac-Man kinetic sculpture was designed by LEGO enthusiast LiteBricks. The sculpture was first seen on the LEGO IDEAS forum, where LEGO master-buildings upload and showcase their custom-made design ideas. The collective LEGO community then votes for their favorite. The highest-ranking designs get a chance to be produced by the toy brand into specialized kits.

This is the trajectory for LiteBricks' Pac-Man Moving Display. The kinetic sculpture boasts interactive features such as a rotating crank-lever that opens and closes the pill-munching spherical character and four ghosts. More than just a static standalone toy, the ghosts on the display bop up and down while Pac-Man's mouth opens and closes. This particular design includes a total of 1,603 LEGO pieces.
