LEGO Presents its new Pac-Man Arcade Set with 2,650 Pieces

LEGO introduces its own Pac-Man arcade set which is made up of 2,650 pieces -- it entirely recreates the iconic arcade cabinet down to the intricate detailing. It features a light-up coin slot, a joystick, and a functional mechanical crank that allows users to move characters around the maze. This is a puzzle brick version of the game, so although it is mechanical, the game does not actually play.

LEGO notes in a press release that "Once complete, you can light up the coin-slot, plus there is a small vignette of a female mini-figure playing Pac-Man on an arcade, hidden inside the cabinet." The character's tone is inspired by the iconic yellow tone of the Lego brick, Bandai Namco's Aadil Tayouga explains, "Since Pac-Man yellow was actually inspired by the Lego Group yellow, it made the [collaboration] even more natural."
