Building Block Game Consoles

LEGO and Nintendo are Releasing a Game Boy Building Block Set

LEGO announced a new collaborative product with Nintendo: The LEGO Nintendo Game Boy. This is a custom building block set designed to replicate the appearance of the original Game Boy handheld released by Nintendo in 1989. This building block set will allow consumers to relive the nostalgia of holding a Game Boy, while offering the new experience of building it themselves.

The LEGO Nintendo Game Boy will be released in October 2025, as stated on the official teaser post from LEGO's Instagram account, linked above. The post showcases the D-Pad of the Game Boy with 'LEGO' written on each directional input, rather than the traditional triangular arrows. This is a significant collection from LEGO and Nintendo not only because of the popularity of the console, but also because it is the first handheld console from Nintendo.
