Macro Scientific Projection Magnifiers

These LCD Screens Project on Both a Big and Small Scale

With LED, 3D and OLED screens taking the lion's share of the market, LCD screens have slightly fallen by the wayside. The screens are still very usable though, and this digital media wall uses the screens to project photo and text on both a macro and micro level.

The digital media wall was created for use by the Weill Cornell Medical College and features thousands of LCD screens and magnifying lenses. At a glance, the lenses all come together to make one large image that can change and showcase different things. When brought closer, though, it tells a very different story.

The screens say small phrases and show tiny images when brought up close, making for two very different experiences from the wall.
