Lancome's La Nuit Tresor fragrance is the cosmetic brand's latest re-launch of the classic 1990s scent and features perfume packaging that is inspired by precious stones. Boasting a diamond shape, the perfume's glass bottle is accented with a dark rose that fits its night-inspired theme.

The Lancome La Nuit Tresor fragrance will be available in stores this February 2015 and is an example of how perfume packaging can be used to sell luxury and fantasy to a consumer.

Tresor, meaning treasure in French is representative of sensuality, femininity and status. The fragrance is infused with notes of black rose and Tahitian vanilla orchid. The floral perfume's packaging is shaped to resemble a jewel or precious stone and will appeal to fans of elegant branding.
