The enigmatic lamp effect, created by the minimal glass design of the Fizi series by Australian studio Articolo, fosters a wondrously subdued and mysterious ambiance. Boasting a spherical structure atop a brass and mid bronze base, the light is characterized with an "effervescent" impression.

Interestingly enough, the lamp effect strongly relies on a glass-blowing technique that makes the fizzy surface. Articolo also explored the nature of organic shapes through elongating the orb of the spherical structures to create the "dramatic Fizi Slab." The process takes a stunning 12 months to complete. Aside from the mesmerizing effect of the lamp, each piece becomes genuinely unique due to "the unpredictable nature of mouth-blown glass," as Nicci Green, the creative director of Articolo, describes.
