To prove that picking a particular brand of drink goes beyond what's in the bottle, Cointreau set up 'La Maison Cointreau' hostel takeovers across the world.
The immersive brand experience was brought to major global cities and featured appearances from celebrity spokesperson Dita Von Teese. When the triple sec brand landed in New York City, the event opened its doors to the public, providing space to marvel at chandeliers, browse libraries containing authentic cocktail books from the 1800s, enjoy live music and of course, sample drinks being prepared live as part of the Cointreau Ambassador of Libations cocktail competition. As well as being lavish in terms of looks, the NYC event space was cast in a warm orange glow that subtly payed tribute to the orange flavor of the triple sec.
