Fords Gin recently hosted 'Beyond the Pour,' an exclusive invite-only activation at Rockefeller Center that celebrated the brand’s legacy as the “Cocktail Gin” through a highly curated, multisensory journey. Designed to deepen appreciation for the craft of gin-based cocktails, the experience guided guests in small groups through a series of immersive spaces over the course of a one-hour, four-room progression.
The journey began with the aroma and sound of a French 75 being freshly shaken, leading guests into a visually stunning room designed to evoke the feeling of stepping inside a gin bottle. LED visuals, glimmering chandeliers, and ambient audio created a striking opening scene.
Guests then explored the importance of ice in cocktail-making, with melting ice sculptures encasing botanicals like juniper, jasmine, and citrus. A subsequent room focused on balancing sweet, sour, and spirit, offering samples of flavor bases such as lime, honey, and marmalade. The experience concluded in a 'Garnish Lounge,' where guests customized cocktails and relaxed in an elegant, social atmosphere.
