When Kurt Lightner conceives ideas for a new project, he keeps in mind the importance of paint and color while balancing his spatial illusions. His paintings are a perfect blend of conceptual and recondite art.
Born in Ohio but now based in New York City, Kurt Lightner made a name for himself in art circles with numerous solo and group exhibits over the last decade. His latest works are a series of acrylic on panel paintings that emphasize color while taking into account his flair for the abstract. The series is a collection of abodes that play on spatial composition with hallucinogenic imagery.
Kurt Lightner’s latest exhibit titled Paintings and Sculptures was held in his home state of Ohio at the Rebecca Ibel Gallery in Columbus.
