Krispy Kreme will launch national delivery service, along with a social media promotion, where the company will offer free products that are able to deliver babies during Leap Day. The promotion dictates that any hospital that is in 10-mile proximity to a Krispy Kreme location is eligible and participating hospitals can post a baby announcement to get five dozen donuts.
Social media posts will need to include the name of the hospital, as well as the #KrispyKremeSecilalDelivyry hashtag.
Overall the campaign could connect with consumers due to free products, and a message that has broad appeal. Originally the company launched the delivery service in 2018, and the new campaign help to promote the service.
