The Know-it-All Fridge is a collaborative project by nutritionists and computer scientists at the University of Applied Sciences in Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany.

The preamble to the demo video is simple and promising: imagine your fridge knew the expiration dates of the foodstuff within, or which ingredients were necessary for which recipes and where to buy them. The Know-it-All Fridge is capable of carrying out those duties without hesitation and more! Although merely a concept, the piece is available for public testing and is based on the idea that future grocers will digitally print pricetags.
