Iconic Japanese Glassware

Tokyo's Bar Gen Yamamoto is distinctly known for its amazing craft cocktails served in distinct glassware and now international fans of the bar can purchase the amazing Kimura Glass for themselves. The glassware has long been a favorite in the Japanese bar scene and the glassware used at Bar Gen Yamamoto is largely comprised of sets of Kikatsu glasses by Kimura Glass. This glass is personally designed by glass designer Shizuyo Seagusa and is often noted for its graceful design available in a variety of shapes and sizes.

Up until now, the glass could only be purchased in Tokyo but recent updates to the Kimura Glass website have made the work available to buyers all around the world. The pieces are fairly pricey but according to the maker, "glass makes taste for cocktails, like a dress… matches the [glass] character with [the drink’s] taste.”
