Artist Kevin Champeny Uses Resin Candies to Create Beautiful Art

Designer Kevin Champeny is known in the art world for his fascination with constructing beautiful works of art from candy.

For his project entitled 'A Rose By Any Other Name,' Kevin Champeny use "15,000+ individually hand cast urethane pieces of candy" weighing a total of 75 pounds and measuring 51-inches in length, 41-inches in height, and a depth of 1.5-inches. It's only when you get up to Campeny's piece can you truly appreciate the hard work and skill that went into this piece of art. By not using real candies, as he normally does, Chapney's work will be able to last for years, and he also won't be tempted to eat them.

I can only imagine the incredible amount of time and patience it must have taken to individually place each and every one of these resin candies.
