British label Kast Concrete Basins just revealed its new collection of patterned sink basins entitled 'Kast Canvas.' The entire series is comprised of three different sink designs that dive into the depths of what concrete materials can become using elevated patterns on the surface. The design details are very subtle and textural on top of the minimal sink forms. The new designs stray from the smooth look of traditional bathroom sinks with their unique use of materials and design.
The three designs are the Elm, the Mara and the Vos. The Elm style embraces a contemporary approach to the classic bucket sink with linear patterns to give a heightened visual appeal. The Mara design is a rounded silhouette resembling a circular bowl and it is decorated with interlocking circle patterns. Finally, the Vos design has bold contours and embodies the practical rectangular sink, accented with a triangular pattern. All of the concrete Kast Canvas sink basins are available in all the Kast Colors and will be showcased at ICFF this year.
