The packaging for the Jupik range of fruity beverages is targeted towards children between three and ten years of age. The front part of each package contains a playful, colorful illustration of a child dressed in an animal costume. This encourages children to identify with the fun fruit flavors.
The colorful illustrations are placed against a soft color palette which stands out significantly from that of other child-targeted beverages on supermarket shelves, marking the product out among the bevy of bottled beverages.
In addition to catching the eye of kids and their parents alike, the design of the Jupik packaging also effectively highlights a range of new innovations in the recipe of the product. Most importantly, these low-calorie drinks contain absolutely no preservatives or artificial colors.
Given the number of beverages and edibles being marketed towards kids these days, it's imperative that design be used intelligently to highlight the product's key features, and the Jupik packaging certainly does that.
