Brooklyn artist Jonathan Viner creates stunning hyperreal paintings that appear as though they could be straight out of a glossy fashion magazine editorial. Viner's subjects are varied, but each of his pieces cultivate a distinct set of emotions in the viewer.

Jonathan Viner's paintings only reveal themselves as such when viewed closely and feature a dreamy quality, possibly a product of the slightly retro fashions and furniture straight out of a Wes Anderson film set. Additionally, his use of blue and grey hues and a rich array of textures give much of his recent work a hypnotic and almost nightmarish feel based on the thin line presented between surreal and hyperreal.

Jonathan Viner operates out of his studio, Viner Studio, in Brooklyn and his most recent work was shown in his show 'Cold Snaps' at site/109 in Manhattan's Lower East Side.
