Since its inexplicable rise to popularity, reality show Jersey Show now has several copycats including a Korean version, a Russian version and even a Canadian Version.
Now MTV thinks we need more Jersey Shore, so it has made a version for our friends across the pond dubbed "Geordie Shore"; it even sounds similar.
"Geordie" refers to someone from Newcastle. And, faithful to the original, there will be 4 guys and 4 girls (who are practically twins to their American counterparts in appearance and behaviour) living together in a luxury house in Jesmond, Newcastle. However, you can expect British accents and a lot more "chums" than "bros."
