The Jerry House Allows People to Relax and Have Fun

— August 6, 2014 — Art & Design
The Jerry House by Onion architecture was designed so that the owners and visitors could relax and have fun. To achieve this goal, the team built a playground inside the house, which certainly conveys the idea of having a good time.

The house is located in Thailand, and is meant as a vacation home for a family with kids. Not only did they want an interactive space for the children, but for the adults too. The architects thus did a great job with finding this balance (it's not often a functional house can double as a playground, but Onion manages to make this happen here). Despite the playful aesthetic, the house still takes on a minimalist look, with a whitewashed interior and attractive furniture throughout.
