The Jacob's Mini Cheddars range has been expanded by Pladis in a bid to help offer consumers a satisfying snack that's packed with cheesy taste along with a traditional range of authentic flavors.
The snacks feature an array of heat levels that range in intensity including Lime & Chilli, Nacho Cheese & Jalapeño and Chipotle Chicken Wings that go from mild to hot, respectively. The snacks all focus on Mexican-inspired flavors to help satiate demand for international cuisine-inspired taste preferences amongst consumers.
Marketing Controller at Pladis UK&I Christopher Owen spoke on the expanded Jacob's Mini Cheddars range saying, "We’re seeing a whole host of global cuisines making their way into British snacks and – with 41% of consumers between 16-44 actively seeking spicy foods – it felt only right for Mexico to be the next stop on Mini Cheddar’s world trip. We know that chili is an important flavor within the crisps and snacks category, so with this new, spicy take on Jacob’s Mini Cheddars, retailers have the opportunity to drive incremental sales by introducing the brand to new shoppers and re-engaging shoppers who may not have bought into the brand for quite some time.
