Trader Joe's is helping consumers beat the summer heat with its new Italian Pistachio Gelato Style Frozen Dessert.

Last year, Trader Joe's unveiled a seasonal Italian Pistachio & Fior di Latte Gelato, which was a major hit among consumers. Now, the brand has honed in on just the pistachio flavor to create its new Pistachio Gelato Style Frozen Dessert. Made with the same pistachio gelato from the same Italian supplier, the creamy new frozen treat boasts the same ultra-smooth consistency and deep, nutty flavor as last year's version, but with extra pistachio flavor. The result is a sweet and subtly savory frozen dessert that pairs perfectly with a sugar cone, or in a cup topped with crunchy crushed cookie bits. Or, you can enjoy it affogato style with a shot of strong espresso.
