Marshmallow-Flavored Italian Ice

Italian ice is a sweetened frozen dessert that's typically made with either fruit or other flavorings and boasts a texture that is somewhat reminiscent of sorbet. Rita's has built an entire business of serving Italian ice and other treats to those with a sweet tooth and a desire for refreshment.

Now, Rita's is launching a special-edition Peeps flavor for Easter that is said to remind of the iconic brand's colorful marshmallow treats. The icy treat comes in a yellow color that resembles the classic marshmallow chicks. Throughout the year, Rita's also has plans to release other Italian ice flavors inspired by candies like Twizzlers and Hawaiian Punch.

This year, Peeps also teamed up with Oreos to release a new white cookie biscuit with a creamy pink filling that also reminds of the taste of marshmallows.
