Intheory Design is the creative fuel behind an apartment located right in the heart of Singapore. The team at the studio drew inspiration from Ryokan, which is a style of Japanese inns. It is a playful approach to understanding light and shadow with the foundation of the concept that "to light a candle is to cast a shadow." This also celebrates the homeowner's journey of self-exploration.

The bright spaces are meant to evoke joy and success in the comfort of the warm environment. The intertwined elements of shadow are meant to represent the challenges that inevitably come with life, learning lessons, and prompting self-reflection. The thoughtful design has natural light entering through the big windows and the ambiance is a nod to Ryokan's principals.
