This Interactive Display Window Collects Contactless Payment Donations

With the help of Clear Channel, the store windows of Cancer Research UK stores have been turned into interactive displays where people passing by can swipe contactless payment cards to make a donation. This technology allows the shop to serve as a place to receive donations 24 hours a day, supported by a media screen that shows the impact the donations will make. When a debit or credit card is held up to the window, £2 is collected from a contactless card.

As well as being a way to draw people into its store, this is a phenomenal way to support cancer research. Beyond its obvious applications for charity, Neil Chapman of Clear Channel describes: "This contactless window display is an important step towards offering brands a contactless payment solution away from their point of sale."
