Agricultural businesses are focused on getting the most of out the farms that they own and manage, and Inter Crop Office takes that to heart. The company's new office, which was designed by Stu/D/O Architects, is inspired by the rice terraces that populate agricultural areas all around southeastern Asia.
The rice terrace influence is clear throughout Inter Crop Office in multiple ways. Firstly, the building's seven floors are all offset from one another, which gives the total design a tiered appearance. Secondly, the space that's left between these tiers has been transformed into small gardens, allowing grasses to grow up and out over the edges. In tandem, the appearance is a serene reminder of the type of work that Inter Crop Office is managing out in the fields.
