This is the issue the Instagram payment feature addresses, as it keeps users in the app while the make payments via the merchant's system.
In its current state, the Instagram in-app payment feature allows users to make payments and bookings at places like salons. It is important to note that this feature is still in its testing phase and Instagram hopes to quickly expand the payment feature to allow for a range of other services.
