The Creepy 'Caterplight' by Bacus Boo

The Caterplight light fixtures by Singapore-based designer Bacus Boo are indeed somewhat creepy-looking. The lamps, clearly inspired by a caterpillar, and perhaps also a woolly bear, have been manufactured by Bomania DesignworX in both floor and pendant models.

The pendant version, even more metaphorical with its twisting shape, looks like the insect has been caught in the act of spinning its cocoon.

Implications - The Caterplight will not do one that and that is for sure -- take flight. This is a bold and original creation by the Singapore-based designer Bacus Boo. Keep your eye out for him in the future.
