Levi Strauss's Industrie Denim Store is Complete with "Jean-iuses"

— October 15, 2011 — Eco
Industrie Denim is a new premium denim concept created by Levi Strauss & Co. and American Rag founder Mark Werts. The collaboration has resulted in new Industrie Denim stores, which feature industrial-style interiors.

All products available at the Industrie Denim stores are eco-friendly. Along with Levi's jeans (such as Levi's Red Tab line), customers will also find a slew of other premium denim brands, including Polo Ralph Lauren, Comme Des Garcons, Current/Elliot and J Brand, in these stores. All the stores will employ sales associates, referred to as "jean-iuses" (clever!), who are essentially denim brainiacs -- they know everything about fits, washes and sizes. In addition, the stores feature something called a "Booty Cam" in their dressing rooms -- this lets customers see how their jeans fit from every possible angle, says Popsop.
